Saturday Cycling

TRIFIT's weekly Saturday morning cycle - Meet at Malibu Bluff Park (Pepperdine Univ.) or Ocean Ave. & San Vicente Blvd. (check IMPORTANT NEWS and TRIFIT Calendar for weekly location and start time)

The ride will vary in distance from 30 to 80 miles depending on time of year, conditions and fitness levels. There will be at least 2 groups:
  1. easy to moderate, and
  2. moderate to fast.
The easy to moderate group will stay together at all times. This ride will have a leader/sweeper the entire way.  Don’t feel intimidated.  No one is too slow.  Beginners are welcome and you will never get left.  The ride north on PCH has a shoulder the entire distance.  Please don’t be concerned.
The moderate to fast group will ride together as best possible and probably break into smaller groups. We will regroup again at the end of the ride.

Be sure you bring pump/CO2 cartridges, patch kit, spare tube(s) and water bottles and post-ride nutrition.
If it works, we will spend about 15-20 minutes stretching.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Please be aware that cycling, especially on busy urban and neighborhood roads involve a degree of danger.  It is imperative that all riders remain aware of his/her surroundings at all times. CLICK HERE FOR MANDATORY SAFETY PROCDURES AND RIDING ETIQUETTE that are expected of all TRIFIT riders. REMEMBER: Helmets must be worn on all TRIFIT rides - NO EXCEPTIONS.
